Salt Creek Bridge

An old Parker truss bridge over Salt Creek in Pott. county, Oklahoma. This bridge was one of the last complete Parker truss bridges in the United States. It had to be demolished due to age and traffic load. This picture was taken just a few months before construction on the new bridge began. They were attempting to find someone to preserve the bridge, but I don't know whether or not it was preserved.
